Dubai Beach
Dubai has some of the most beautiful beaches like famous Palm Beach in Dubai and Beach Parks offering a wide range of entertainment facilities in resorts to its visitors. Dubai has two main beach areas which are separated by the Dubai Creek and consist of the western Jumeriah Beach and the Deira
beaches that lie to the east of the river. Whole the year sunshine and excellent soft sandy beaches along the coast are ideal for enjoying, relaxing or sun bathing. Some more activities are available for visitors, there are water sports to be enjoyed in the warm waters of the Arabian Gulf. Winters in Dubai are pleasant and so the beaches are full of holidaymakers. During summer holidays temperatures can reach up to 40 degrees centigrade with equally high humidity. Dubai beaches offer a plenty of recreational activities including beach jet skiing, volleyball, windsurfing, deep-sea fishing or any other water-sport you desire to enjoy.

Palm Island Dubai

The Palm Islands are an artificial construction archipelago in Dubai, UAE on which major commercial and residential infrastructures will be constructed. Now they are being constructed by Nakheel Properties, a property developer in the Arab Emirates, who hired Belgian & Dutch dredging and marine contractor Jan De Nul and Van Oord, some of the world's specialists in land retrieval. The islands are the Palm Jumeirah, the Palm Jebel Ali and the Palm Deira.

Each settlement will be in the shape of a palm tree, topped with a crescent, and will have a large number of residential, vacation and entertainment centers. The Palm Islands are located off the coast of The United Arab Emirates in the Persian Gulf and will add 520 kilometers of beaches to the city of Dubai.

The first two islands will contain approximately one hundred million cubic meters of rock and sand. Palm Deira will be created of approximately (01 billion) cubic meters of rock and sand. All materials will be quarried in the United Arab Emirates. Among the three islands there will be over 100 luxury hotels, exclusive residential beach side villas and apartments, marinas, water theme parks, restaurants, shopping malls, sports facilities and health spas. It all developed for the entertainment of visitors.

The creation of the Palm Jumeirah began in 2001. Shortly after, the Palm Jebel Ali was announced and recuperation work began. The Palm Deira, which is planned to have a surface area of 46.35 square kilometres, was announced for development in 2004. Construction was originally planned to take 10 to15 years, but that was before the impact of the global credit crunch spread all in the world and it hit Dubai also.

Construction
The palm islands are artificially constructed of sand from the bottom of the Persian gulf. Two companies from west took the task of this difficult and famous construction. They started working on the palm jebel ali in 2002 and finished this task in the end of 2006 in just four years.
